The City of Fairview operates and maintains five neighborhood parks and a primary park, known as Specht Park, located in the southeast area of the city. The neighborhood parks have a variety of facilities, including playground equipment, volleyball courts, basketball courts, baseball/softball backstops, pavilions, benches and barbecue pits. Specht Park is home for the municipal swimming pool, lighted and unlighted baseball/softball fields with an accompanying concession stand/announcer's booth, a gazebo, pavilions, playground equipment, picnic tables, barbecue pits and the lighted Rodeo Grounds. Adjacent to Specht Park is the Major County Fairgrounds.

BALL PARKS

Organized recreation programs include baseball and softball leagues in the summer months. The ball fields are the home field for the public school boys baseball and girls softball programs.
