PARKS
The City of Fairview operates and maintains five neighborhood parks
and a primary park, known as Specht Park, located in the southeast area of the city. The neighborhood parks have a variety
of facilities, including playground equipment, volleyball courts, basketball courts, baseball/softball backstops, pavilions,
benches and barbecue pits. Specht Park is home for the municipal swimming pool, lighted and unlighted baseball/softball fields
with an accompanying concession stand/announcer's booth, a gazebo, pavilions, playground equipment, picnic tables, barbecue
pits and the lighted Rodeo Grounds. Adjacent to Specht Park is the Major County Fairgrounds.
